The Cleveland Clinic and Canon Inc. have created a research partnership designed to advance and develop cutting-edge imaging and healthcare IT technologies. The partnership will establish a comprehensive imaging research center based in the Cleveland Innovation District.

Augment Therapy, a Cleveland-based digital health startup, has raised a $2.7 million seed plus round from both current and new investors. The company creates rehabilitative healthcare through immersive and gamified technology.

A $20 million donation from Dee and Jimmy Haslam will create the University Hospitals Haslam Sports Innovation Center in Cleveland. Built for both professional and recreational athletes, the center aims to "strategically identify, support and invest in the world’s best innovations in sports medicine.”
