Applications now open for Pediatric Device Innovation Grants: Initial deadline is August 31, 2024

Nationwide Children’s Hospital

The Midwest Pediatric Device Consortium (MPDC) helps foster innovation in new technology and devices for pediatric care. MPDC’s Pediatric Device Innovation Grants are designed to support device development at any point on the pathway from ideation to commercialization. These grants are open to unincorporated entities and inventors affiliated with colleges and universities through their technology transfer offices. Companies are also invited to apply.

The fall grant cycle includes an initial application due August 31, 2024. The application is available at https://mpdc.smapply.us/prog/mpdc_1/. Select applicants will be invited to submit full applications by September 30, 2024.

In this cycle, applicants can request grants ranging from $10,000 to $250,000. Most awards will be between $10,000 and $50,000. Anyone who submits the initial application can meet with members of the MPDC team to explore the different ways they can help applicants develop their products–even if the applicant is not invited to submit a full application.
