First ever CincyAI Week kicks off in Cincinnati: A three-day exploration of AI education, empowerment, and engagement

CincyAI Week, a three-day event dedicated to exploring and advancing artificial intelligence in the Greater Cincinnati area, begins today with a sell out crowd. Organizers expect over 1,000 attendees from across Southwest Ohio and beyond.

Scheduled from Tuesday, June 11 to Thursday, June 13, the event features three days of comprehensive programming with over 100 speakers focused on AI education, empowerment, and engagement. Held at Union Hall in Cincinnati, the event is organized by the Enterprise Technology Association, Cincinnati AI Catalyst, and a coalition of community partners. Due to high demand, registration is required, and the event is currently on a waitlist.

Day One: Responsible AI, Policy, Governance, and Ethics

The opening day of CincyAI Week centers on Responsible AI, Policy, Governance, and Ethics. Discussions will delve into the ethical and regulatory aspects of AI, with industry leaders and experts examining the challenges and opportunities in creating responsible AI frameworks. The day's activities will conclude with the AI Woodstock Networking Social, providing a platform for attendees to connect and share insights.

“There is a reason we decided to make Day 1 of CincyAI Week about responsible AI and ethics,” said Summer Crenshaw, one of the event’s organizers. “The technical evolution is bringing about change quickly with experimentation in new areas- including bioprocessing. The conversation is needed now, not later when the government decides to put in place regulations.”

Day Two: AI Education, Research, and Innovation

The second day focuses on AI Education, Research, and Innovation. Attendees will witness presentations from academics, researchers, and startups showcasing their cutting-edge work in AI. The AI Startup Showcase will highlight groundbreaking solutions from emerging companies, offering a glimpse into the future of AI technologies.

Day Three: AI Leadership Summit

The final day features the AI Leadership Summit, emphasizing AI for Teams and Organizations. This summit will explore strategies for integrating AI into organizational structures to drive innovation and efficiency. The day will start with the Women in Tech and AI Breakfast, celebrating the contributions of women in the AI field and fostering discussions on diversity and inclusion.
